First, let Los Gauchos be the first to let you in on the secret: Argentina is a huge country with ample bird hunting options and outfitters and lodges that will make you return season after season for the bird hunting in Argentina. Los Gauchos Outfitters is proud to have an affiliation with a few of the BEST Argentina duck hunting and dove hunting destinations. Let us not forget the Perdiz hunting in Argentina.
Our Santa Fe Lodge does offer a mixed bag of Argentina ducks, doves, and Perdiz hunting. Our Cordoba locations are more doves than you can imagine and service, food, and wine that want to bring Argentina home with you.
So read on about the answers and again, let us know if there is anything else we can answer about Argentina bird hunting.
Where do I fly into for the Cordoba Argentina dove hunting?
This is a question with 2 answers. For those coming for just the Argentina dove hunting trip and not any sight seeing in Buenos Aires, then the best way to arrive is taking a flight from the US to Santiago, Chile (SCL) and then connecting to Cordoba (COR). Many of the American airline carriers have this route and code share with an airline in Santiago to make the transition an easy one.
American Airlines is one such carrier and has the most flights to and from Argentina and Santiago. By making the reservation from the US to Cordoba going through Santiago, Chile, you avoid time and expense changing airports, getting luggage and then rechecking luggage. This flight provides you a carefree trip into Cordoba and in the fields ready for some heavy hitting Argentina dove hunting the afternoon of arrival.
The first dinner and taste of the pure Malbac wine of the famous Argentina region will be a reward you will cherish.
That brings me to the next question, is the food and beverages included with the Argentina bird hunts?
Yes. **There is always an exception but for the most part yes. The only exception are the few Argentina dove hunting trips that clients choose to stay in Cordoba and drive each day for the hunting. The hotel stay and the meals while in Cordoba, the city, are NOT included in the daily hunting rate. Don't worry, your invoice will clearly state this and these are special reservations for Cordoba dove hunting.
The good part of the lodges and estancias besides the high volume dove hunting and excellent Argentina duck hunting is the food and wine. The food in Argentina is a unique and world famous and hard to copy recipe. The wine is pure and like no other in the world. So, enjoy the Argentina dining that comes with your Argentina bird hunting trip.

How much are the shotgun shells? How in the world will I pay for my Argentina dove hunting bill? I'm a high volume sharp shooter, and will break the dove hunting record in Argentina.
We have many high volume shooters as well as those wingshooters just coming to Argentina for some excellent bird hunting. The shotgun shell bill is paid the last day before departing the lodge and varies according to the manager or head guide and the rules of the estancia.
Los Gauchos does allow credit cards for some locations, but with processing of credit cards in Argentina there is a 4% fee added to the bill. If you do not agree to this, all lodges will accept cash (USD) and some will accept checks (again, a 4% fee is added for processing a US check in Argentina.)

Do you provide waders for the Argentina duck hunting?
Unfortunately no. This is near impossible to keep high quality, clean waders that will fit all of our clients going duck hunting. You do not always need to have waders for the duck hunting in Argentina, and the lightest fly fishing waders are a good safe bet for packing for an Argentina duck hunt.
